NZ Greenshell Mussel with Black Bean Sauce

Ingredients

  • NZ Greenshell Mussels in half shell - 6 pieces
  • Chinese Black Beans (roughly chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tsp
  • Dried Thai Chilli (chopped with seeds) - 1 Chilli
  • Fresh Garlic (finely chopped) - 1 tsp
  • Water - 50 mls

Method

1. Heat sesame oil, black beans, garlic and Thai chilli in a saucepan until fragrant 

2. Add mussels and water and toss 

3. Cover and simmer for 3‐5 minutes 

4. Remove from heat and serve
