About the role:

Currently we are looking for a Quality Technician & Production Administrator to support the ENZAQ Quality Manager.

This is a full time position, performing several tasks to ensure all product produced meets the legislative requirements of our Risk Management Program & for other certifications applicable to the site.

The Key Functions of the position would be:

  • Assisting QA Manager with maintaining, updating and developing our food safety systems.
  • Assist in external audits and conduct Internal Audits on various Food Safety & Quality systems
  • Maintaining various Quality/H&S/EMS databases on a daily basis
  • Assist in the development and review of Standard Task Instructions for the site
  • Quality control and quality assurance inspection conducted for product on a daily basis.
  • Conducting various other technical inspections and tests on the product on a daily basis.
  • Managing the Internal Lab and conducting various lab activities.
  • Confident communicator ie to raise any product concerns with the Quality Assurance Manager and the wider team.
  • Records maintenance, data collection and reports
  • Assist QA Manager with ongoing projects
  • Create and track library for all retention samples
  • Continuously verify the level of training of all staff is sufficient in food production and every personnel who are responsible for food safety in their areas have the appropriate skills and practical knowledge
  • Investigate Non-conformances and root-cause analysis
  • Complete the microbiological sampling activities as required.
  • An overview of the daily production activities and Identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Additional duties as may be required from time to time.

What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • A relevant science degree and/or experience deemed equivalent
  • Relevant professional training in quality assurance is preferred
  • Knowledge of RMP standard

The ideal person will be meticulously organized with a very high attention to detail, highly motivated, excellent computer skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
