Deck Hands Required -For Deepwater Freezer Trawlers

If you’re ready to get wet, smell like fish, and stay focused then you should work as a deckhand for Sanford.

Sanford requires Qualified Deck Hands -For their Deep Water Freezer Trawlers based out of Timaru to work trip 2 trips on and 1 trip OFF paid.

Qualifications: ADH-F or NZOW is preferred but we will be considering an applicant if they are able to demonstrate their capability with previous vessel experience.

Good Knowledge of the following is required:

· shoot and haul nets

· operate winches

· process and pack fish

· mend nets and lines

· splice ropes and wires

Sea going Marine Engineer -For Scampi Freezer Trawlers

For those looking for a fishing challenge and time with some great mates

Pay and benefits: Share Fishing Agreement with travel to and from the vessel included

Sanford requires sea going Marine Engineers -For their Scampi Freezer Trawlers based out of Timaru to work trip On /trip OFF or similar with an existing engineer.

Qualifications: MEC4 or DTE 1 is preferred but MEC 5 & 6 will be considered if applicant is suitable and able to demonstrate capability commensurate with duties.

Good Knowledge of the following is required:
• Main engine　
• Auxiliaries　
• Electrical systems
• Hydraulics and normal engineering systems for fuel management
• Freezer refrigeration
